I'm Jake, an art photographer.
After years of casual in-the-world and travel photography, I am refreshing my artistic practice (and rebuilding my portfolio) with more planned, posed, and concept-based work.
My goal is to build intentional collaboration with the humans I work with, to see formal and conceptual expression in the final frame. Place is important to me, and I value naturally lit spaces, but I intend to experiment more with staging and preparation.
